Terms of Service

These Terms of Service describe how you may use Kaki, a network-diagnostic app operated by StyleGear Co., Ltd., including its optional VIP and IP Proxy features.

1. Using Kaki

Kaki provides guided network diagnosis, explanations, local reports, and focused tools for checks such as latency, speed, public IP, DNS, and TLS. Basic functions can be used without a visible sign-in or a VPN connection. Some functions use a guest session created for the device when a server-backed feature requires it. You are responsible for using Kaki in compliance with applicable law and for tests you choose to run against networks or destinations you do not control.

Kaki's measurements are snapshots of the conditions and destinations tested. They are informational and do not guarantee future performance, diagnose every cause of a problem, or certify a network as secure.

2. Local data and your responsibility

Reports and certain test history are saved on your device. You can review, delete, export, or share reports using the available app controls. If you share an exported file, you choose its recipient and should check whether it contains network details you do not want to disclose. Removing a guest account does not automatically delete local diagnosis reports; those are managed separately.

3. VIP access and purchases

Kaki offers optional monthly and annual VIP access. The current products are non-renewing in-app purchases: they provide access for their stated duration and do not renew or charge again automatically. To continue after expiration, you must make another purchase. The purchase screen and Apple's payment confirmation display the current price in your local currency before you authorize payment; prices and availability may vary by region and over time.

VIP unlocks the features shown in the app while the entitlement is active, including expanded local report history and comparison, export options, detailed node quality, and IP Proxy locations. Purchases are processed by Apple. After a verified transaction, Kaki synchronizes the entitlement with its guest-session service. If eligible access is missing, use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. A new or deleted guest session does not itself transfer Apple's transaction history; restoration may be needed to sync access to the current session. Refund requests and payment disputes are handled through Apple's applicable purchase process and consumer rights.

4. IP Proxy

IP Proxy is a separate, optional VIP feature. It uses an iOS VPN configuration and Network Extension to route device traffic through a selected proxy location while connected. You must choose to connect and grant the system permission when prompted. You may choose Auto or an available country. Proxy-node availability, reachable locations, speed, and connection quality can change; Kaki does not promise that any node or destination will always be available.

Do not use IP Proxy to violate laws, the rights of others, or the rules of networks and services you access. Kaki does not provide an always-on or on-demand automatic reconnection promise. If a connection drops or fails, the app may require you to reconnect manually. Review the Privacy Policy and the in-app IP Proxy data-use notice before connecting.

5. Availability and changes

Kaki depends on your device, network, Apple services, our service, and external measurement or proxy endpoints. Tests or proxy connections can fail, time out, be interrupted, or be unavailable in a particular place or network. We may maintain, update, or discontinue functionality when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any purchased rights. Material changes to these terms should be posted with an updated effective date before they apply.

6. Ownership and permitted use

Kaki's name, interface, and original app content belong to StyleGear Co., Ltd. or its licensors. You may use the app for its intended personal or authorized business purpose, subject to the App Store terms and any applicable end-user license agreement. You may not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or use it to harm another person or system. These service terms do not replace Apple's standard end-user license agreement where that agreement applies.

7. Limits of the service

Kaki provides diagnostic information and connectivity tools, not a guarantee of anonymity, uninterrupted service, increased speed, or a particular security outcome. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided with the limitations described in the app and these terms. Nothing here removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

8. Ending use and resolving issues

You can stop using Kaki at any time and can request deletion of the guest account through Settings. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or respond to misuse, subject to applicable law and outstanding purchase rights. For purchase issues, first try the in-app restoration option; for app or service problems, use the Support page.
